Sliding Support Bearings – Boiler bearings
Axialglidlager i fyra storlekar. För belastningar 50, 100, 250 och 750 ton per st. Glidstödlager används under konstruktioner såsom rökgasledningar, hetvattenpannor, elektrofilter, pipelines mm mm. Överallt där rörelser p.g.a. temperaturskillnader uppstår.

Syftet med våra glidstöd är att glida med stålets rörelse och på så sätt unvika påfrestningar i stålkonstruktionen. Glidrörelsen sker mellan en speciellt framtagen smörjfri glidplatta med en motglidyta av polerad rostfri plåt. Samtliga storlekar kan levereras i fritt och styrt utförande beroende på om konstruktionen skall glida i både X- och Y-riktningen eller endast en riktning.

De flesta konstruktioner kräver en fix-punkt. Mecmove tillverkar även dessa.

Vid höga omgivnings-/strålningstemperaturer som äventyrar maxtemperaturen på glidplattan kan våra glidstödlager kombineras med värmesköld av olika material och storlekar. Se våra TMW värmeisolerplattor.

Pipe lines, boilers, heat exchangers, precipitators and other heavy static items of industrial plants are subjected to expansion resulting from changes of temperature in various component parts. To avoid stress it is necessary to allow htis expansion to occur without rigid constraint. Sliding support bearing are generally used as a means of overccoming the problem.

Bearings o this type should have the following properties:
Low coefficient of friction
Values of static and kinetic coefficient of friction should be as near to each other as possible
High load carrying capacity
A degree of self alignment to avoid edge loading
Low maintenance – e.g. lubrication free
Sealed bearing surface to prevent ingress of dirt
Corrosion resistance
Long life
Ability of withstand wide range of temperatures
Easily changeable parts due to wear

A designer has often to compromise between different factors but we have tried to lay out our support bearings on the basis of the above starting points. At the same time we also had in mind that the price must remain on a acceptable level.

A prime feature of our support bearings is the capacity for self alignment during erection. This is particulary important when, it is not economically viable to achieve a high degree of accuracy of alignment or to have machined surfaces.

It is also this capacity for self alignment that avoids edge loading thus minimising wear and permitting longer life.

There are 4 main sizes of the support bearing, namely, for 50 tons, 100 tons, 250 tons and 700 tons load carrying capacity.

The bearing plate is corrosion protected steel with about 0,7 mm thick layer of low friction material.

The coefficient of friction is at high loads and low sliding speeds of about 0,05.

A flange at the middle of the bearing plate provides the location in the bearing body without the need for anadhesive.

The seal is located in a groove in the bearing budy wich encircles the bearing plate and prevents movements of the seal.

The bearing body is made from high tensile cast steel, has a spherical base and is zink plated for corrosion.
